Please be considerate of other campers.
We want everyone to have a good time. But please don't let *your* good time ruin someone else's good time. This campground is a shared space, and our rules are meant to ensure the safety and enjoyment of *all* campers -- please follow them.
Check in time is after 12pm. Check out time is before 12pm.
Please do not arrive early or stay late without prior approval. Late checkouts require a $20 fee with approval.
Registration is required.
All campers must stop at the office to register themselves and their vehicles before setting up in any site. Campers will receive a yellow Car Pass for registered vehicles that must be displayed on the rear view mirror. This helps us to keep track of who is in our park to ensure the safety of our campers and their property.
Visitor Pass for non-campers is required.
If you have friends or family coming to visit your site during your stay, they are required to stop at the office to pay a $5 visitor fee (per vehicle) for a red Visitor Pass, which must be displayed on the rear-view mirror of the vehicle while they are in the park. Again, this assists us in keeping track of who is in our campground to help ensure the safety of our campers and their property. Visitors with a pass are allowed to stay until 10pm (quiet time).
Please watch for children and animals - drive slowly!
The speed limit in the park is 5mph. Why so slow? We are a family friendly campground which means children are welcome to play and ride their bikes throughout the park, and many campers enjoy walking their dogs on leash around the campground. We ask all of our campers and visitors to obey our traffic signs to ensure the safety of those who are enjoying our park.
Quiet time is 10pm - 8am.
Refer to Rule #1 "Please be considerate of other campers." This is not a "party park" -- we are a family friendly campground and many of our campers have babies and/or small children with them. All children must return to their campsites before dark, and music and generators must be turned off by 10pm. We do encourage quiet campfire gatherings as long as you're not disturbing your neighbors. This rule will be strictly enforced.
Help us keep our park beautiful!
Leave your site the same or better than you found it. Please dispose of all cigarette butts, trash, and recycling (bottles and cans) in appropriate receptacles - do not leave your trash in our fire pits or scattered around your site. If you make a mess, please clean it up. If your child or dog makes a mess, please clean it up. NO CLIMBING, CARVING, CUTTING, CHOPPING, OR DAMAGING TREES.
Pets on leash only.
We are very dog friendly here! However, pets must be leashed at all times and are not allowed to be left unattended in the park - no exceptions. While *your* dog may be well behaved off-leash, others are not, so all must be kept on leash to ensure the safety and enjoyment of all campers and dogs. Please clean up after your pet! Pet waste must be placed in a plastic bag before being placed in a trash bin -- poop bags are available in the office, so there is no excuse for not cleaning up after your dog.
The wildilfe loves camp food too.
We have a variety of critters that live on and around the property - various birds, squirrels, deer, raccoons, coyotes, nutria, bats, and black bears, to name a few. While most wildlife is people-shy, we ask that you please keep your site clean and avoid leaving a food source available for unwanted visitors. The crows are *very* smart here and have been known to open coolers and pull lids off of garbage cans -- a bag of chips or hot dog buns left on the picnic table is easy-pickins for them (and they're always watching/waiting)!
Enjoy our lake safely.
Catch and release fishing is allowed in the lake without a license. Children are not allowed to be near the lake without adult supervision. No swimming, wading or kayaking in the lake.
No smoking or cleaning fish in restrooms.
Please do not smoke or dispose of cigarette butts in our restrooms. Also, please do not clean fish or wash dishes in the bathrooms. We do have fish cleaning stations and water stations for these purposes. Please dispose of fish heads, guts, and clam/oyster/crab shells at the appropriate garbage stations, not in our bathroom garbage receptacles.
Our cancellation policy.
We get it - things happen! If you have made a reservation that you can't keep, please notify us within 48 hours of your scheduled arrival date (ex: if you're supposed to arrive Friday, notify us by Wednesday). If you do not show up on your scheduled date, and have not given 48 hours notice of cancellation, the card number used to reserve your site will be charged a fee equivalent to one night's stay ($40 for RV, $25 for tent, $60 for group site).
Absolutely no fireworks are allowed in the park at any time.
Fires are allowed in designated fire pits only.
Please do not move or damage fire pits. No glass, bottles, cans or trash in fire pits. Firewood is available in the park.
Our generator policy.
You are welcome to use a generator while dry camping; however, it must be turned off during quiet time (10pm - 8am). If you need to use a CPAP machine throughout the night and do not have a battery pack, please request a tent site with power (limited availability) or an RV site when making your reservation.
